What is the fare from Bindook to White Bay?
A fixed $769 one way for one or two passengers, up to $949 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 281 km from Bindook; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 283 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How long is the drive from Bindook to the terminal?
About 4 hr 55 min for the 281 km to White Bay, and 5 hr for the 283 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How early do we need to leave?
From your boarding window rather than the departure time on the ticket. Cruise lines board by deck and luggage tag across several hours, so the useful number is when your deck can board — we work back from that, plus the drive and the terminal approach.
Will our cruise cases fit?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day you sail.
Can you actually collect?
Access here is unsealed and weather-dependent, so a sail-day run is arranged in advance rather than booked blind. Talk to us about the date before you commit — missing a ship is a worse outcome than missing a flight.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Bindook page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
One minibus takes eleven for $949. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Bindook involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Are child seats available?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Remote grazing country with no lighting and no help nearby.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Bindook to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
We are travelling with family from two houses — is that possible?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
How close do you get to the ship?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Yerranderie, Wombeyan Caves, Nattai, Fitzroy Falls and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
