What does the run from Narellan Vale to the cruise terminal cost?
A fixed $199 one way for one or two passengers, up to $299 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from Narellan Vale it is 58 km to White Bay and 60 km to the Quay.
How much time should we allow for the drive?
58 km and roughly 49 min to Rozelle; 60 km and about 53 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
How early do we need to leave?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Do you have room for a fortnight's packing?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Narellan Vale page.
Can eleven of us travel together?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $299. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Narellan Vale involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. A high proportion of the return legs here were booked at the same time as the outbound, which is the sensible way to do it — the fare is locked, the time is held and nothing needs arranging at the terminal.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Narellan Vale to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How much notice do you need?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Narellan, Currans Hill, Harrington Park, Mount Annan and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
