What is the fare from Circular Quay to Thirlmere?
A fixed $275 one way for one or two passengers, up to $415 for eleven in one vehicle. It is the sail-day fare plus the $10 terminal pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
How do you handle a pickup when the ship releases people in waves?
By message rather than by clock. That is the only arrangement that survives a disembarkation, where the release order is by tag colour and not by cabin number.
What if we are held up in customs?
Nothing is charged for waiting. A late berthing, a long customs queue or a slow lift are all free time here.
How far is Thirlmere from White Bay?
White Bay is 1 hr 14 min from home, Circular Quay 1 hr 18 min. Both are door-to-door figures.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
Both, each with its own published fare. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name it — from Thirlmere it is 90 km from White Bay and 92 km from the Quay.
We are coming back with more than we left with — is that a problem?
Tell us the bags when you book and we size the vehicle to them. On a disembarkation run the luggage usually outranks the passenger count.
Is a deposit required?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at your door on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Is it door to door from the terminal?
Yes — no interchange and no shared leg. Bush frontage and long driveways are normal here. If yours is gravel or unlit, say so at booking — the driver would rather know than reverse out of the wrong one at one in the morning.
Is a booked car better than the rank at the terminal?
The gap is widest exactly when you need it least — a whole ship emptying into one rank inside two hours. A pre-booked vehicle is not part of that.
Do you have a vehicle for a group coming off a ship?
Eleven is the maximum in one vehicle at $415. Groups off a ship usually have more luggage than the seat count suggests, so mention the cases at booking.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — the ages matter at booking so the right seats are already in the car.
Is there public transport from the cruise terminals?
There is no train at White Bay, and from Circular Quay to Thirlmere is a long trip with several changes and a walk at both ends. The bags are what rule it out.
Do you do multiple drop-offs?
Within one suburb, yes, at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly.
Can we move the booking?
One message reschedules it, free. Itineraries move more often than flight times, which is one reason we take no deposit.
What do we need to do on the morning?
You text, we come in. No calling ahead, no guessing, and no charge for the time before the message arrives.
Do you serve the towns for disembarkations?
Pheasants Nest, Couridjah, Tahmoor, Bargo and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance from both terminals.
