You message from the terminal doors, we come in. Transfers from the cruise terminals out to Appin — the plateau town above the Cataract gorge, halfway between the Illawarra and Macarthur — with room for everything the holiday came home with.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets disembarking cruise passengers at both Sydney terminals and drives them home to Appin (NSW 2560) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle is 68 km from the Appin shops on Appin Road, about 1 hr 2 min; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 70 km, about 1 hr 7 min. The fare is $219 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $319 for eleven in one vehicle, and it matches the sail-day fare exactly. Disembarkation is released by luggage tag rather than a published time, so there is no booked minute to miss: you message from the terminal doors and the driver comes in, with no meter running while you queue. Nothing is payable in advance. Give us the sailing details and the pickup looks after itself. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare each way; pickups add $10
$219 for a couple, rising only with the seat count. Which terminal your ship docks at makes no difference.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $219 | solo flyers and couples |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $239 | three with the cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $239 | four adults, no squeeze |
| 5 | People Mover | $259 | family holidays |
| 6 | People Mover | $259 | two couples sharing the run |
| 7 | Minibus | $289 | larger family departures |
| 8 | Minibus | $289 | two families sharing one vehicle |
| 9 | Minibus | $319 | sports teams and club trips |
| 10 | Minibus | $319 | teams and work crews |
| 11 | Minibus | $319 | the most we fit in one vehicle |
The fare does not move because the ship docked late, because the queue was long, or because it is a Sunday. Tolls and GST are inside it. No prepayment, no card details on file. You settle it when you arrive. Fares reviewed August 2026.
The fare was set before you sailed. Whatever the morning looks like at the terminal, the number does not move.
Waiting when you land
We size the vehicle before you sail, from the cases you are taking plus whatever the holiday adds.

Same service in all four. Whichever class meets you, the fare covers tolls and GST, the child seats are free and already fitted, the waiting is not charged for, and nothing is payable before the drive to Appin.
The drive home
Allow about 1 hr 2 min for the 68 km from White Bay at Rozelle to the Appin shops on Appin Road, and about 1 hr 7 min for the 70 km from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Back along the M5 and south on Appin Road. Properties strung along the highway with limited stopping, so the driver approaches from the side that lets him pull clear.
Getting out of the terminal precinct is the slow part on disembarkation morning, not the motorway. Once past the Anzac Bridge the run usually clears, and the whole of that allowance is inside the fare rather than on a meter.
Sailing out rather than home? Boarding-window timing and the sail-day fare are on the Appin cruise transfers page.
How the morning actually runs
A ship does not release everyone at once, so a cruise pickup cannot be booked to a minute. It is arranged around your message from the terminal doors instead. Here is how each part of the morning works.
No fixed pickup time and nothing to miss. The driver is nearby from early and waits for your word.
Ships arrive when they arrive. Waiting for one is part of the fare, not an extra on it.
Cancelled sailing or a changed itinerary? One message moves the booking. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund.
One message from the terminal doors is all it takes on the day.
Where we meet you

The driver stays close to the White Bay terminal and moves on your text. Nothing is charged for the wait.
The OPT sits right on the Quay with almost no waiting room, so we wait a street away and pull in when you are through.
Then it is a single drive to the door, with the cases handled at both ends. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping. Give us the number and we will approach from the side that lets the driver pull clear.
The two terminals
White Bay at Rozelle is 68 km from Appin and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 70 km. Your cruise documents name the one your ship berths at; both are met on the same terms and at the same fare.
about 1 hr 2 min · Rozelle, via James Craig Rd
Back along the M5 and south on Appin Road. Properties strung along the highway with limited stopping, so the driver approaches from the side that lets him pull clear. Full detail on the White Bay transfers page.
about 1 hr 7 min · Circular Quay, tightest kerb of the two
The city terminal, right on the harbour, with almost no waiting room at the kerb — which is why the driver holds nearby and comes in on your message.
$219 from either terminal. Rozelle or Circular Quay, weekday or weekend, early release or late — the fare was set by your suburb and your group size.

A whole ship empties into one rank inside about two hours, and the luggage rules out most of the alternatives. Worth reading before you sail rather than while you are standing there.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $219 fixed | ~1 hr 2 min, door to door | one vehicle, one run home, at a number you already know |
| Train and a walk | Opal fares, plus a lift at the far end | 2 hrs or more, with the cases | White Bay has no station at all, and from Circular Quay it is a change and then still a car at the Appin end — with a fortnight of luggage |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 2 min if a car accepts | appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 2 min plus retrieving the car | neither terminal has long-stay parking, so it means a fortnight of inner-west parking fees and then finding the car with the cases |
Neither cruise terminal has long-stay parking of its own, and neither is reachable from Appin without a car at one end. The honest summary: a solo traveller with a cabin bag can make the train from Circular Quay work; two people with a fortnight of luggage cannot.
Landing as a group

Eleven disembarking passengers travel home in one vehicle for $319 — about $29 a seat, against three cars from a rank an entire ship is queuing at. Everyone leaves together, which on that morning is worth more than the saving.
Send the ship, the date, the headcount and an honest bag count. Groups coming off a cruise routinely have more luggage than the seat count implies, and it is far better to know that now than at the terminal.
The rank, honestly
When two vessels turn around together the rank at Rozelle disappears entirely. A pre-booked car is unaffected.
A metered trip out to this district depends on conditions you cannot see from the queue.
Whatever you left with, you are returning with more. That is a vehicle decision, not a hope.
Why book the arrival
The trip home is settled while you still have a keyboard and a signal.
That is the whole arrangement. No slot, nothing to miss, no penalty for a slow morning.
A late berthing or a long queue costs nothing, because there is no meter running.
Nothing taken at booking, and no cancellation fee if the sailing changes.
Cruise cases are the reason people book this leg. We plan the vehicle around them.
Fitted before the vehicle leaves, from the ages you gave us at booking.

From the terminal doors to your street: the usual run home to Appin.

Arrival questions
Between $219 and $319, set by the seat count. White Bay and Circular Quay cost the same.
You message us when you are actually through, and the driver comes to the terminal doors. Cruise lines call passengers down by luggage tag across a couple of hours, so there is no booked minute to miss and no penalty for a slow morning.
Nothing is charged for waiting. A late berthing, a long customs queue or a slow lift are all free time here.
About 1 hr 2 min for the 68 km from White Bay at Rozelle, and 1 hr 7 min for the 70 km from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. The slow part is getting out of the terminal precinct rather than the motorway.
We meet ships at both. Rozelle is 68 km from Appin; Circular Quay is 70 km. If the paperwork is not clear, send it to us and we will work out which.
Plenty, provided we know in advance. Duty free, gifts and a fortnight of washing all have to go somewhere, and a sedan that fitted you on the way out may not on the way back.
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens at the end of the trip.
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping. Give us the number and we will approach from the side that lets the driver pull clear.
Two things a rank cannot give you: a boot chosen for cruise luggage, and a known price on a long run out of the city.
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $319, about $29 a seat. With a full cruise load we will be straight with you about whether the luggage fits alongside the people.
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves for the terminal.
Not with cruise luggage. White Bay has no station at all, and while Circular Quay does, reaching Appin from it means a change and then still a car at the far end.
Both, and most people book them together. Boarding-window timing, terminal drop detail and the fare are on the Appin cruise transfers page.
Within one suburb, yes, at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly.
Tell us and it moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Message us when you are actually out. Nothing before that matters, because the release order is by luggage tag and no one can predict it.
