How much is a cruise transfer from Pheasants Nest?
$269 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $409 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (95 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (97 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How much time should we allow for the drive?
95 km and roughly 1 hr 16 min to Rozelle; 97 km and about 1 hr 20 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
How early do we need to leave?
From your boarding window rather than the departure time on the ticket. Cruise lines board by deck and luggage tag across several hours, so the useful number is when your deck can board — we work back from that, plus the drive and the terminal approach.
How much luggage can you take?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
When do I actually pay?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Pheasants Nest page.
Can eleven of us travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $409, about $37 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Most of what we bring back here is crews and handovers rather than households, and those happen at every hour.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Pheasants Nest to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
When should I arrange the cruise transfer?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
We are travelling with family from two houses — is that possible?
Within one suburb, yes, and at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly than squeeze it.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Thirlmere, Couridjah, Tahmoor, Bargo and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
