How much is a cruise transfer from Oran Park?
A fixed $199 one way for one or two passengers, up to $299 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (55 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (57 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How long is the drive from Oran Park to the terminal?
About 52 min for the 55 km to White Bay, and 57 min for the 57 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How early do we need to leave?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
Do you have room for a fortnight's packing?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
When do I actually pay?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Oran Park page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $299, about $27 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Yes — the early boarding windows are routine here; pickups before 6am add $20. The bigger problem at Oran Park is not the drive but the address.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Oran Park to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Within one suburb, yes, and at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly than squeeze it.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
How close do you get to the ship?
As close as the marshals allow, which at both terminals is the entrance itself.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Camden, Elderslie, Harrington Park, Spring Farm and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
