What is the fare from Menangle to White Bay?
Between $229 and $329, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 63 km from Menangle; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 65 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How far is White Bay from Menangle?
About 53 min for the 63 km to White Bay, and 57 min for the 65 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
From your boarding window rather than the departure time on the ticket. Cruise lines board by deck and luggage tag across several hours, so the useful number is when your deck can board — we work back from that, plus the drive and the terminal approach.
Do you have room for a fortnight's packing?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
Do I pay before the sailing?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Menangle page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $329, about $30 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Menangle station exists but the last service is early and the walk from it is unlit.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Menangle to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
How close do you get to the ship?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Do you serve the towns for sailings?
Darkes Forest, Appin, Menangle Park, Douglas Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
